Thanksgiving Dinner

This year, I will be preparing my first official Thanksgiving dinner!  Being that it's my first, I wanted to cook everything but with no prior experience on Thanksgiving-ish dishes, I went to my trusty blogs and visited some cooking stores to find recipes that were fairly easy, delicious, and would fit within my timeline.  With only one oven and stove, a good strategy was needed!  Hahaha...yup.  I'm creating a plan of attack with multiple excel sheets and lists.

Here's what my Thanksgiving meal will look like!

Turkey: A fresh, never frozen, turkey ordered from Whole Foods
Turkey Brine: Williams-Sonoma
Green Bean Casserole: A fabulous blog and recipe from The Pioneer Woman
Stuffing: Focaccia Stuffing with Sausage from Williams-Sonoma Recipes
Whiskey Glazed Carrots: Also from TPW but on her recipe blog, Tasty Kitchen

These are my main dishes and I'll also include some simple Filipino dishes.  My family's bring the ham, bread, and potatoes so thank goodness for them! :)

There will be a second Thanksgiving dinner hosted by my mom though and I plan on making Twiced Baked Potatoes from once again, The Pioneer Woman.  I swear, she rocks.  She's probably the reason my husband loves me even more.  Her recipes are easy to follow and yum yum delicious!

So there you have it!  I'll try to take as many pictures as I can.  Wish me luck!
